Mother/Daughter Day - Mother's Day 2015

Happy late Mothers Day to all you amazing Mom's out there!! My sister and I took my mom out for a day of fun the Saturday before Mother's Day. We had a great time! We went for Pedicures at Polish in Daphne. I can say it was one of the best pedicures I have ever had. We then drove into Fairhope and had lunch with my Aunt and Cousin at Sunset Pointe in Fly Creek Marina. The grounds are beautiful and the food is awesome! We took a nice little drive down to Punta Clara Kitchen in Point Clear to pick up some sweets. What a cute little place and it had a drool worthy front porch. I wish my front porch was that beautiful! We stopped by The Bay Candle in Fairhope on the way home and OMG it smells amazing in there! I bought a Luxe Linen candle and I think it is now my favorite candle of all time!! We found out that they also produce candles for Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert and Reba as well as many other celebrities and businesses. It was such a fun and relaxing day spent with two beautiful ladies that I consider my best friends. There is no one quite like your mom and sister. I love these two so much!

Housewarming Party! Old Key Theme

So the very next weekend after the Retirement Party I was asked by my cousin to decorate for he and his new bride's Housewarming Party at the same location! I thought that using an old skeleton key as inspiration was a neat idea so I ran with it.  We had old keys everywhere! Luckily Michael's had them in their dollar section in all shapes and sizes. I thought it turned out well.
